The Preschool Homeschool

We’re a homeschooling family in SE Missouri. We homeschool through kindergarten and then decide where to go from there. Our son wanted to try school for first grade and he enjoys it. I know our daughter will do the same because she is much more active and outgoing than her brother. We started homeschooling because the district where we previously lived wasn’t the type of place where you felt safe sending your child or where you felt that your child was being educated to the best of their ability. We moved to a small town where school dynamics are completely different. While I’m not impressed 100% with the school district here, our son is in a conducive learning environment in a safe school. Where the school lacks, we pick up. Our theory is that homeschooling doesn’t end just because your child is in school. Here we are on vacation this summer:
